Hello family, friends, and newcomers (hopefully, soon to be new friends)! For those who don’t know me- I’m the wife to the man in who always wears boots, and the mother to a curious, wild, fun-loving one and a half year old boy.
Welcome to the little blog I’ve been quietly working on. I had no intention of ever drafting a “Welcome” post. Originally, I started lengthy, meaty post about babywearing and ring slinging FAQs because I thought the best way to “introduce” myself was to talk about the thing that has helped be become a more efficient mom and forged many friendships. I figured the babywearing blog would be a great chance for me to start off this blog all about how I, the Unlikely Mommy, have welcomed motherhood. Then I got a wee little surprise that changed the game.
Our wildman toddler, James was a Thanksgiving Day 2013 surprise! I took my first pregnancy test ever, and subsequently several more! You just can’t be too sure!! He was born the following July 2014 and we have been on this wild ride ever since. This Valentine’s Day 2016, I shared the news with my Mr. Boots…
